Psychological Therapy for Adults
How can I help
You may already have an idea of the mental health struggles you are experiencing, or you may be confused and wanting a space to understand this further. Together we can start to explore and understand your unique experiences and to help identify the best support and intervention. With your permission, there can be times when it is helpful to explore and process past events. However, you may want to focus more the more ‘here and now’ and strategies or coping skills. Sessions are guided by you and your goals.
You might come to therapy sessions if you're experiencing:
-
Anxiety, worry, or panic
-
Obsessions, compulsions, rituals, or repetitive behaviours that may be OCD
-
Fears or phobias, including worries of sick (emetophobia)
-
Low mood or feeling overwhelmed
-
Stress around work or learning
-
Friendship or relationship difficulties
-
Family changes
-
Low self-esteem or confidence
-
Big emotions that feel difficult to manage
-
Changes in sleep, motivation or routine
-
Feeling stuck, lost or unsure what you want
-
Difficult past experiences that are still affecting you now that may be trauma or PTSD
You may also be wishing to access sessions to make sense of and explore your mental health without using certain terms of diagnoses, or you may have recently been given a diagnosis that you are wanting to understand and process.
